Witches and warlocks, I give you… Supermagickal Home Protection Charms, to keep your home safe and protected from any negative influences. Peep the above video for a behind-the-scenes look at the crafting of these little magickal beauties!
Ethically foraged hawthorn or rowan from my local woodland will form the basis of these charms. The rest of the elements will vary and no two charms will be identical. The wood tells me how it wants to be used, so the physical shape of the charms will differ. Elements will include spell bottles, charms, crystals, amongst others! Each charm will contain a very potent herb, to repel any unwanted energies and keep your space protected from any further intrusion.
When I’m crafting these charms, I’m casting protection spells as I craft, and I imbue your charm with all the protective magick that I can call in. They’re powerful. They’re not just for protection though, my Home Protection Charms will have some extra elements to bring prosperity and abundance into your home. Protecting from the bad juju, to let the good vibes flow!
To amp up the magic, it’s great to perform your own wee ritual, spell or meditation, pour your intent and belief into the spell, and let the protection come*.
I’d recommend hanging your charm near your front door, or the main entrance to your home. You could also hang it somewhere in your car (not somewhere daft like the rear view mirror!).
*Protection charms do not replace genuine safety measures! They are intended to protect from psychic attack, negative energies, unwanted spirits etc. They may not have as much success against a human who wants to cause physical harm. Please visit Scottish Women’s Aid if you need practical support.
