What is a Spell Jar?

Pre-crafted spell jars are one of the simplest and most powerful forms of magick you can work with, and this Spell Jar Kit contains all you need to craft your own spell! Whether you’re needing a little energetic support, a boost to your manifestation work, or a gentle nudge from the universe, these spell jars (also known as witch bottles) are a beautiful place to start. They’re also wonderfully thoughtful gifts — a small jar of magick that shows someone you truly care. For many people, these wee bottles of intention become their very first step into the wider world of witchcraft and energy work.

Trust that every element of this spell jar kit was chosen carefully by me, to ensure a universal intention. These kits can be used for whatever you’re dreaming of! Every item also contains Reiki energy and my own magick of course! I’ve also included some of my own personal stash of Prosperity Salts, to ground your jar!

🔮 How to Craft and Activate Your Spell Jar

Trust your own intuition as to which order you carry out these steps in! These are guidelines. Feel free to do your own research into the items, to really personalise your spell. The most powerful witches are the ones who follow their intuition and make their spells deeply personal to them.

• Focus hard on what you want you want your spell jar to help you with, to bring to you, etc. Visualise, meditate, journal it. Be as specific as you want (but be prepared for the Universe to carry out your wishes in the way it knows will serve you best!).
• Light your candle.
• Write briefly what it is you want your jar to do on the little scroll. You can either burn this and release the ashes to the universe, or pop it into your jar.
• Mindfully craft your jar. Add the ingredients with focus and intention. I like to use the salt to ground the jar, to bed in your intent for the purity of your highest self.
• The key is to push your intent and beliefinto your activation ritual.
• Use the wax from your candle to seal your jar.
• Carry on your visualising and wishing until the candle has burnt down. Or trust that the magick is finished!

After the spell

• Keep your jar somewhere meaningful to you.
• Treat your spell jar like a crystal. Cleanse it with sound or sacred smoke if you feel it has taken a dink for you, or gone stagnant. Charge it under the sun or with selenite or any other charging crystal.
• Once you feel your spell jar has done its job for you, you can break it open, return the suitable elements to the earth, bin what can’t be left in nature (with thanks!) and keep what you want to use again. Cleanse any ingredients (and the jar!) thoroughly before re-using.

A small tip: never blow out your candle! I believe that can disperse the magic. Use a snuffer or pinch it gently to extinguish the flame.
