Sex magick is one of the oldest forms of magick known, and it can be hugely powerful. It is is the act of building up energy through sexual and sensual pleasure. Unlike sex for sex’s sake, with sex magick (I believe) that an orgasm is required to channel the energy into whatever it is you are working to manifest.

This is important! You do not need a partner to practice sex magick! If you can get yourself off (either by your own hand or with the use of toys), you can be a practitioner too! I have practiced this kind of magick both solo and with a partner and, if I’m honest, the solo workings are often more powerful. If you are engaging a partner, make sure they are willing! If they don’t want to take part in the ritual and are just there for the pumping, I would advise letting them know that you are performing a ritual. You don’t need to share the details of your ritual, but I would tell them you are performing magick.
