Cord Cutting Ritual Kit

I’ve crafted a truly magickal cord cutting ritual kit, to help you cut the cords to anything that isn’t serving you!*

Cord cutting spells and ceremonies can be mighty powerful. I know, because I’ve performed them for myself. You can cut cords to people, but also to times of your life, places, situations.

This cord cutting ritual kit contains everything you need to cast a cord cutting spell:

• Two candles, white for you and black for the cord you are cutting.
• The cord itself.
• Botanicals and charms, to symbolise the cord you’re cutting and what you’re inviting in, in its place.
• A little vial of a very special ingredient, grave dirt. The dirt was harvested ethically, respectfully, with gratitude and offerings of thanks. This is to connect your candles.
• A carnelian crystal, to act as a talisman for the days and weeks following your ritual.

Watch this video for guidelines and suggestions on how to cast your spell. There is no right or wrong way to do it. Follow your own intuition, and bring your own belief in magic, and your intent! A rough guideline is: place your candles and tie the cord so that it connects the candles. I like to tie my cord closer to the top of the candle, or else your spell will take a very long time! It is quite a lengthy spell, so do set aside the time for it. Place a line of gravedirt underneath the cord, connecting the candles. You can mix the botanicals and objects through this if you wish, or have them surrounding your candles as you feel appropriate. Light the candles, watch the flames, be verbal and speak about the cord you are cutting and what you are inviting in to replace it. You could also write it down, and burn it on the flames. Watch the flames and the way the cord burns, it will speak to you and give you information. It’s a nice idea to video your spell, for a reminder of your power and will over the following days.

* Please note, the success of this spell boils down to your desire to cut the cord. If you’re not sure, the spell likely won’t work. If you feel a teensy bit of uncertainty, don’t let it overcome you. I’d recommend that you ask your guides, guardians and loved ones in spirit to help you. If it is for your highest good that the cord be cut, let the cord be cut!
