What is Protection Magick?

Protection magick should be the first spell that you cast, or engage me to cast for you. If you start working with energy and spirits, protection is crucial. The core element of protection magick is secrecy. Protection magick must be kept private, for obvious reasons. If you tell people your spell, they can break it. For this reason, the photograph is for illustrative purposes only. I am not sharing my own protection magick publically!

Witches use botanicals, crystals, and other objects and items aligned with their protective properties, to cast a metaphysical, energetic shield around them. Protection spells can take various forms, from a simple black crystal or witchy bells at your front door, or, as I will be casting for you, a spell jar.

When you might need a Protection Spell

As I said, protection magick should be a core element of your spiritual hygiene. But life is life, and there are times when we need a little bit more protection. It could be from a toxic person, or environment. You may have a lot of visitors in your home or workspace and feel you need a bit of shielding from their auras and energies. You may be on the road a lot, and want some portable protection. You may be under targeted attack. If you have an online presence I always recommend warding your handles, and my protection spell can be used for this.

Your contribution is important, see below. However, I craft my spells very carefully, because the last thing we want to do is block off your energy to the good shit! I will add an element for abundance.

I will use botanicals aligned to my own personal intent for protection, which adds to the strength of the spell. My correspondences are deeply personal to me, and arise out of my own personal research into the herbs and flowers I work with most.

Your contribution to your Protection Spell

I will discuss this during our consultation, but I’m going to need something from you to go in your jar. This is the element that will supercharge your spell and make it pretty fucking difficult to break. After I craft your spell, you will arrange to collect it within 48 hours. I require that time to charge your jar with reiki and my intent, so it will sit on my altar for that period. After you take your jar home it is up to you to keep it safe. I will explain this with you at consultation.
